i have a 2005 ford crown vic (police , state trooper) it does not have remote locks , all i have is a key to unlock the doors, so can i put in a remote start and will the button still work for the car? any other tips will be helpful thanks!A remote starting system will work on your car and you should ask if it will be cheaper since you don’t have automatic locks.
If you are interested in getting your locks switched the automatic then I am sure the audio/car shop can help you since there are plenty of kits out there.
But to answer the basic question, Yes a remote kit will start with your vehicle.
