Get a sneak peak at the Hyundai Veloster tuned by ARK Performance for SEMA Show 2011.
To showcase the performance capabilities and aftermarket potential of Veloster, Hyundai teamed up with ARK Performance to transform the Veloster into a rally inspired performance coupe. ARK took the eco friendly 40MPG Veloster and set goals to reach 240 horsepower by adding numerous modifications including the addition of a turbocharger as well as other performance modifications. Meet Alex Han of ARK Performance as he introduces you to the ARK Veloster debuting at SEMA Show 2011.
Ark’s mission in tuning the Veloster was to create a streetable performance car that’s more than capable of keeping up with even the most spirited of drivers. They are also in development to produce most of the parts featured on this show car so Veloster owners can have tune their own car and push it to the limits. Performance modifications include ARK turbocharger and intercooler system, ARK RSEPC downpipe, Yokohama Advan RZ Gunmetal Wheels, ARK 8-point chromoly rally style roll cage, camber arms, control arms, and a soon to come ARK 6-pot big brake kit.
Exterior modifications include ARK CFX front lip, side skirts, rear bumper, wide front and rear fenders, and also a custom grille. They’ve also incorporated a Seibon Carbon fiber hood and trunk, custom OneEighty lights and a matte gray paint finish with neon-green accents. Interior modifications include custom interior fabrics and panels by JPM Coachworks with custom stitched Alcantara, Image Dynamics amplifiers and speakers including a ID10D4 10″ subwoofer.
This vehicle is a custom one-off model produced by Rhys ARK Performance for SEMA Show 2011.
