Remote starters for cars?

I want to get my friend a remote starter for his 2011 ford fiesta. how do I go about doing that? Do I need to contact ford to see if it would affect his warrenty? how much do they go for and is the installation pricing? please help I have no idea on how to go about doing this.Ya, you better check with the warranty department. I bought a used car, and it was a pretty nice one. It previously had a remote starter in it, but the dealership pulled it out because they didn’t want the liability of the car having electrical problems.

My elder friend had an 05 Equinox with 22k miles. (Just passed 5 months ago, that’s all the miles on the car when I sold it.) He had a remote starter. The battery would go dead in 20 minutes if I left the interior lites on. It would go dead in a week if I didn’t drive it. Also, whenever I opened the front doors, the CD changer would make a noise continuously like it was ejecting a CD, and it never ever had a CD in it. An error message would come across the display.

Anything you add electrically is potentially bad for your car. Check it out really, really well.
