Question by Mike N: What counts as "monetary gift"?
I'm filling out an OSAP deferral payment application and it says under "gross monthly family income", "other income", "monetary gifts". Right now I'm broke, my grandmother helped me with rent this month and my parents for March, and they're also helping with food and internet.
Would I declare all of that as monetary gifts? Should I explain that February they're not helping with rent (because I paid first), that's why January and March have higher money value?
