Publisher's Clearing House?

Question by britrob20: Publisher's Clearing House?
I entered the $ 5,000 a week sweepstakes/contest thingybob, which I plan on winning by the way haha, and it said my entry was successful.
Then, I received an email, well actually 2 or 3 saying that if I don't enter by the email I may forfeit my chance to win.

I'm pretty sure the first one really was successful, and the reason they sent me emails was because of a login mixup where I accidentally started it on two separate occasions or something.

I would enter by the emails to be sure I am actually in the contest, but I wonder:

- If I enter "again" (from the link in the email) will it count as me entering twice, and will I be overlooked or "punished" for attempting some sort of fraud?

- Will my chance of winning be taken away if I enter by the email link?

I would first look at the email address, to make sure it's legitimate (and not "Someguy@gmail.com or "randomperson@yahoo.com"). Reason being is that they may be trying to scam you or get some personal (usually credit card) information from you.

If it seems legit, you may want to clarify what happened, so that you don't forfeit yourself by entering again.
