Rover Key Fob / Immobiliser Help!?

Hi. The wife has a Rover 200 on a T plate. This morning the battery went flat and this in turn has activated the immobilizer.Unfortunately, the battery compartment in the key fob is broken, so we effectivly have no fob. Doors have always been opened using the key. Can anyone let me know what is best to do, or where to go to get this done, as Rover are no more, where could i go to get the lost codes for the fob and replacement fob? Something tells me this is going to be a hard one to get around. So, we have, A broken key fob. A car with the immobilizer on, no idea who or where will do any diagnostics that Rover would normally perform. Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction.Find a local garage that specialises in auto electrics, if you visit a decent independant garage they will be able to point you in the right direction.
