Hello I was thinking about getting a remote starter for my 04 toyota corolla CE. Does the car need to have power locks, power windows etc.. for this to work? Mine does not. Also, it has automatic transmission. I need help finding the right one. I don’t want to go through all the trouble if I get the wrong one. Also, what about the installation. Some people told me, its kind of easy to do by yourself. Is that true? I really don’t want to spend a lot of money. All I want is the Remote start and key less entry. Thank you very much.As for as keyless entry, each door would have to be removed to place a motor (actuator) on, and considering yours is a 2004 corolla, I believe it is using a cabling link wire for the door locks, so that would mean a conversion kit for each door to hold the cable correctly in place. Its considered easy if you know how to do it, but for someone thats going to be doing it once, it might take you hours to a couple days. But if you do, do it, remember where everything goes and take notes.
