A company in Estonia claims to have the answer a shape-shifting robot mannequin.Fits.Me has come up with a device that takes a customers body measurements and changes itself to mimic their shape. It can literally take a 100,000 different body shapes and sizes.The results of the mannequins work are displayed on the given clothing retailers website.Fits.Me says thanks to their product, customers get a far better idea of how an item will look when worn than by using current approaches.[Heikki Haldre, CEO, Fits.Me] A great size is not just a matter of fit, its a matter of style. Theres a lot of people who prefer to wear the clothes more fitted and a lot of people who prefer to wear the clothes more loosely fitting. Visualizing those different sizes on real bodies gives them this answer.Fits.Me says online apparel retailers have the highest return rate in e-commerce. One in four garments is returned.
