It’s a 1999 Camaro V6. I’m afraid that if I put something wrong on it. It would sound like Crap. It’s single a exhaust now.I own a shop, a drag car & truck, and think this; It really depends on what sound you are after. If you stay with a single exhaust, then I would suggest going with a free flowing catback system such as one by flowmaster. Go to this site:
and enter this part number: 389-17356 if you have a 3.4 liter V-6 engine, and 389-17357 if you have the 3.8 liter V-6. This system comes in three different designs, so you can make up your mind on the sound you want from their chart. The three are "Force II", "American Thunder", and "Delta Force". These are the most popular brand, and has a better sound than all the others hands down. Borla also makes a nice system, but it is best used on a Ford. This system is the best, and is very popular among guys 16-24 yrs. old. I run duals that are custom made for racing, but they are far too loud for street use. If you will ask around some of the Camaro sites, you will see what I’m talking about.
Glad to help out, Good Luck!!!
